Prejudice is Jane Austen's most famous and, arguably, her best work.
It has been the subject of several movies, most recently in 2005 and was
voted the "Best loved book" in the United Kingdom after The Lord of the
Rings, according to a poll conducted by the BBC in 2003.
Bridget Jones's Diary parallels the book in many ways as well.
